Baseline Killer Update
October 11th, 2009
● Last month King Nick began to warn Phoenix about Terry Wayne Smith’s ties to the Baseline Killer case and his upcoming release from prison… and kingnick.com has been generating over 1,000 site hits a day ever since.
● A lawsuit has been filed by the families of two Baseline Killer victims, and it claims that the Phoenix Police could have caught alleged Baseline Killer Mark Goudeau months before they actually did.
The problem with the lawsuit is the DNA the victim’s families say could have prevented their loved one’s death was mishandled. It only matched Mark Goudeau’s DNA on 3 out of 13 “loci” markers; in Arizona 10 out of 13 loci markers have to be the same to call the DNA an official “match”.
So the lawsuit is not only based on Mark Goudeau being the Baseline Killer, which could be wrong, but is also based on the faulty evidence that lead to his arrest. A real lawsuit should be filed by these same families for the cover up talked about in Shanna Hogan’s article, “Unreasonable Doubt”.
"It was kept a guarded secret. Only a handful of
detectives knew about this report, and those who
knew were ordered not to talk... It's a huge cover-up."
-Phoenix Homicide Detective
● Mayor Phil Gordon, Randy Pullen, County Attorney Andrew Thomas, and Sheriff Joe Arpaio all refused to answer the e-mail that was sent to them about Terry Wayne Smith’s ties to the Baseline Killer case.
● A book written about the serial killers (“The Serial Shooters”) who terrorized Phoenix at the same time as the Baseline Killer has been featured and mentioned in the AZ Republic at least three times over the past month. The AZ Republic, the biggest media outlet in Phoenix, has not covered the Baseline Killer case with the same frequency.
● Despite the evidence, including a report put together by a 20 year veteran of the Phoenix Police force and an article in the Scottsdale Times, the rest of the media in Phoenix refuses to cover Terry Wayne Smith’s ties to the Baseline Killer murders.
● It has been three years since The Baseline Killer terrorized Phoenix with his wigs, masks, and his stealth attacks. Nine people were murdered, there were 15 sexual assaults, and 23 armed robberies were attributed to the Baseline Killer.
