CPS Contact: Both CPS and the Phoenix Police knew about the abuse going on in the household, and the boyfriend's own 3 year old son was not allowed to live with him. CPS had also previously investigated Daniel's mom for abusing her other kids.
Daniel was bitten on the face, punched in the head, and held against a wall by the throat while his brother and sister watched before dying of his injuries.
